Tex-Mex Cheesy Garlic Bread

What do you get when you take an Italian classic like garlic bread and add a Tex-Mex twist? You get this amazingly cheesy, slightly spicy, loaded with flavor Tex-Mex Cheesy Garlic Bread!

Tex-Mex Cheesy Garlic Bread

I’m warning you now, this bread is dangerous. As in, can’t stop yourself from going back for seconds and thirds kind of dangerous.

Even better, this cheesy bread is so easy to make and goes well with almost any meal. Don’t just serve it with Mexican fare, because it’s sure to be devoured no matter when you make it!

Actually, I would eat it as my main course, but that probably won’t surprise anyone who knows me.

If you really want to spice things up, add some cayenne pepper to the mix and top it all off with some fresh sliced jalapenos.

If you’re not a fan of cilantro, green onions are a great substitute. I love both, and sometimes I go all out and add both to my Tex-Mex Cheesy Garlic Bread.

I like to use a shredded cheese blend in this recipe, but you could certainly go all cheddar, or all Monterrey Jack. Or all whatever kind of cheese you love the most.

It’s melted cheese. On bread. So it’s pretty much guaranteed to be delicious no matter what you do!

If you’re looking for something a little different to replace your usual Tex-Mex side dishes, you’ll definitely want to try this kicked up version of classic garlic bread. Just be prepared for it to disappear quickly!
