It’s always fun to go back and take a look at my family’s favorite recipes from the last year. As a food blogger, I don’t make a lot of things twice. But these dishes make a regular appearance on my menu, so you know my family and I love them! So here, in no particular order, are our favorite recipes of 2014. Spicy Smoked Sausage Alfredo Bake: So easy, yet hearty enough to satisfy everyone. I never have leftovers when I make this!

Chicken with Cheesy Mushroom Cream Sauce: Nice enough for company but simple enough for a weeknight dinner. We love to serve this with rice or noodles to go along with all of the delicious sauce.

Quick & Easy Skillet Apple Pie: My kids love apple pie, and with this super simple recipe, I can make it for them all the time! They call almost make this one themselves. No, it’s not totally from scratch, but you’d never guess!

Leftover Pot Roast Patty Melts: After I served up these delicious patty melts, there was no going back. It became a requirement when I make pot roast to be sure we’ll have leftovers. If you’re looking for the perfect meal to feed a house full of boys, this is it!

Easy Pineapple Orange Layer Cake: We all love this pretty layer cake with it’s tropical flavors and whipped cream frosting.

Mason Jar Banana Pudding: After eating banana pudding this way at a local restaurant, I started serving up our favorite banana pudding in a jar too. Somehow it just tastes better this way!

Five Cheese 15 Minute Mac & Cheese: This mac and cheese has become my go-to quick dinner staple. It doesn’t matter what combination of cheeses I use, everyone loves it and never gets tired of it.

Lemon Cheesecake Mousse: Simple yet elegant, and a favorite of my husband. And so much easier than making an actual cheesecake!

Kale and Almond Salad: I’m as surprised by this one as anybody. But even my kale-despising husband and my 10 year-old picky eater get excited when they see this salad on the table.

Slow Cooker French Onion Soup: Another favorite of my husband. This soup is loaded with caramelized onions and it’s all done in the slow cooker.

Double Chocolate Zucchini Bread: Hands down the best thing I’ve ever done with zucchini!

Dill Pickle Dip: We all love dill pickles, so it’s only natural that this dip is one of our all-time favorite snacks.

Crisp Bean Burritos: A delicious copycat of some of our favorite fast food from Taco Time.

Creamy Tuscan Ravioli Soup: One of our favorite soups of all-time, and another quick and easy meal that I know everyone will eat. Plus, it makes enough to feed a crowd, so we always have leftovers for lunch the next day.
